Food Bank – Kanz ul Huda Birmingham

Kanz ul Huda has taken the initiative to serve our community in these testing and difficult
times, many have succumbed to unfortunate circumstances due to current COVID-19
measures. We are here to help! Our Emergency Food Bank aims to serve the most
vulnerable, extinguishing the fire of hunger. We know times are difficult if you need our
help, or you know of someone who needs our assistance, please fill in the form.
We are working alongside many local agencies, charities and frontline professionals who are
best placed to identify and refer, we provide a minimum of three days’ emergency food and
support to people in crisis.
Once a person is referred (or refers themselves), our team assess their application and aim
to provide a nutritionally well balanced, emergency food parcel and support within 24 hours
of the referral.

Emergency Food banks are set up to provide short-term emergency support with food
during a crisis. Their aim is to mitigate the immediate pressure of the crisis by giving food,
likewise offering additional help to assist people per individual case based on their day to
day needs.
